ÁLEX BELTRÁN
Álex (Alejandro) Beltrán, is a Spanish filmmaker who studied Media and Communication for five years in his hometown of Valencia and attended the Malmö Högskola Universitet in Sweden for his last year of study. Continuing his passion for film, he moved to California in 2009 and studied Film Directing at the New York Film Academy (Universal Studios) in Hollywood. During that time he directed more than 12 short films. In 2011 he worked for Voltage Pictures (The Hurt Locker, Dallas Buyers Club) and 1984 Private Defence Constractors (Paranormal Activity, Insidious). In 2013 he finished his latest work "Mi Amigo Jaime" which was included in the official selection of the 18th NCGLFF, USA and Budapest LMBTQ Filmfesztivál. Álex worked on several projects in London, with “Lost Years” being his last short film to be released.
